This Fair Oaks homeowner was looking for a solution to fix his sinking driveway without resorting to replacing it. After meeting with our specialist, Brett, it was decided that our PolyLevel solution would be a viable solution. Our crew went in and lifted the driveway several inches.
John O, resident of Fair Oaks, had some cracking in the concrete slabs around his pool. While searching for solutions, he found and called NorCal Foundation Support and set an appointment for an estimate.
During his appointment, John agreed with the suggestion to use PolyLevel which is a high-density polyurethane foam that lifts and stabilizes the sinking concrete slabs back to their original level. Then Nexus Pro Joint sealant was added to seal the cracks in the slabs.
John is glad he went with the suggested solutions.
Homeowner installed smart jacks in crawl space of rental home to supplement support from current columns.
Brett B. of Carmichael noticed there was a plumbing leak in his crawl space. The leak was causing unseemly odors, mold, and mud. He decided he wanted a permanent solution to prevent future leaks, humidity, and mold in his crawl space. Brett searched the web and reached out to NorCal Foundation Support. He wanted to make sure his muddy crawl space would have no further negative impact on his home.
Since Brett is the homeowner, he was able to make an appointment for a free inspection and estimate on his crawl space shortly after he had reached out to NorCal Foundation Support. Upon inspection the wood beams in his crawl space were in surprisingly good condition when NorCal Foundation came to check the site. These support beams would have not been so lucky if Brett had waited longer to get his crawl space fixed. Brett was told that our CleanSpace System would be an excellent solution for all his crawl space problems.
The SmartSump pump system with liner, cast iron pump, CleanPump stand, and the WaterWatch alarm system were all installed to relocate moisture away from the house. A SmartDrain was also installed to identify future plumbing leaks. The CleanSpace encapsulation system was installed in the crawl space and the base of the piers were wrapped to create insulation as well as to keep the space clean and the humidity regulated. Vent covers were installed to prevent future moisture from getting into the crawl space. The SaniDry Sedona was installed to keep humidity levels low. Lastly the LawnScape outlet was installed to discharge the water away from the home.
Installing the Encapsulation System comes with the extra bonus of noticeably warmer floors which lowers heating bills by 10%-15% and the crawlspace can now be used for extra storage.
Brett was happy with this solution; he has had no further issues with unknown water leakage and build up. His crawl space is now dry and will stay that way for years!
Polly D. from Carmichael noticed a six-foot crack along the edge of the foundation of her home. She immediately looked up how to fix it and found NorCal Foundation Support.
After setting an appointment, Ray with NorCal Foundation Support came to check out the property and give Polly an estimate. Ray found that the foundation was cracked outside Polly’s kitchen which was creating instability in the walls of her home. He proposed that in order to permanently stabilize the walls NorCal Foundation Support could install Carbon Armor along the affected exterior wall. Polly agreed and they proceeded with the work.
Now Polly can rest assured that the crack in the foundation is properly fixed and will no longer cause her walls to become damaged or warped due to the instability that the untreated crack was causing.
