Jim M.’s house has a family room that was added around 1954. It is the only room in the house with a concrete slab. At one point in the past, there was a large redwood tree next to the house that apparently cracked the slab and there is an area that is slightly raised as a result. That tree was removed some time before Jim bought the house. Now Jim want’s to fix the slab so he gave NorCal Foundation Support a call to set up an appointment.
Ray Anderson with NorCal Foundation Support suggested that the slab be stabilized using Carbon Fiber stitching to prevent further cracking. Jim thought this solution would be perfect and is glad he proceeded with the suggested Carbon Fiber.
Casey R. from Sacramento was looking for a way to solve the mildew and drainage problem in his crawl space.
Casey was told during his appointment with Ray Anderson of NorCal Foundation Support, that our CleanSpace system would be an excellent solution for all of his crawl space problems.
A SmartDrain was installed to identify any water leaks. The CleanSpace encapsulation system was installed in the crawl space and wrapped around the piers to create insulation as well as keep the space clean and the humidity regulated. Installing the CleanSpace Encapsulation System comes with the extra bonus of noticeably warmer floors which lowers heating bills.
Casey is happy with this solution because his crawl space is now dry and clean!
Rosie E. of Dixon California noticed light seeping in through cracks in her basement, that her home was slightly sinking and that she even had bowed walls inside of her home as a result of her sinking home. Before these issues could get worse, Rosie contacted NorCal Foundation Support to come out and inspect her home in order to figure out the best and most permanent solution for her issue.
The inspector decided that the best way to stabilize her home and keep it from sinking further was the Push Pier System that lifts the home and stabilizes the foundation, and the CarbonArmor system that supports foundation walls and stabilizes leaning and bowing walls.
Through performing this quoted work, all cracks in the foundation and basement walls were fixed and filled to keep the outside out, and even help with insulation. After the house was lifted, the basement walls were fixed up, and all cracks were filled. NorCal made sure that the gutters were all draining away from the house, to ensure that extra moisture was draining away from both the basement and the house.
Rosie has been very happy with her new home improvements, she doesn’t have to worry about her home sinking anymore and can now fully utilize her basement.
David I. of Citrus Heights took notice that the concrete slabs around his pool were uneven and sinking. He wanted these slabs leveled before they started to crack. David ended up finding and calling NorCal Foundation Support to come and check out what was going on.
After setting an appointment, Mat with NorCal Foundation Support came to check out the property and give an estimate. David was told that the slabs could be lifted back into place with PolyLevel and this process would even out the walkway around the pool. This made David happy because that meant his concrete problem was solvable.
David can now be found walking around his pool without stubbing his toe on any uneven slabs of concrete.
Vickie, living in Citrus Heights, was ready to get the crumbling walkway around her pool fixed. She ended up calling NorCal Foundation Support shortly after her decision to fix her walkway. During her call she found out that because she is a homeowner, she was eligible for a free appointment and estimate on her walkway.
Her appointment followed shortly after her call. She was informed during the appointment that the walkway could be lifted back into place with PolyLevel. This process would even out the walkway around the pool as well as prevent further cracking. NexusPro Joint Sealant was to be added to the pre-existing cracks after lifting the concrete back into place using the PolyLevel. This process would bind the cracked slab back together as well as fill in all the cracks in the joints around the steps of the walkway. She agreed PolyLevel sounded exactly like what she wanted and would be a perfect fix to her pool walkway.
Vickie is now extremely happy with the part of the walkway she hired NorCal Foundation Support for. She is waiting on the removal of some tree roots around a different area of her pool before having NorCal Foundation Support come back out and do the rest of the walkway. She is excited to work with NorCal Foundation Support again.
