Nick B. from Antioch noticed lateral cracks in the foundation walls of his house down in his crawl space. He knew that this was a bad sign and that it likely meant that the foundation was not providing the stability which was needed for his house. While searching for solutions he found NorCal Foundation Support.
He was informed during an appointment with the System Design Specialist from NorCal Foundation Support that his house’s foundation could be stabilized with CarbonArmor. This process would help prevent further cracking of the foundation walls in those locations and stabilize them. Nick agreed that the suggested CarbonArmor sounded exactly like what he wanted and would be a perfect fix to prevent further cracking in his foundation.
Nick is now extremely happy with the CarbonArmor and with how the foundation is more stable with this work completed. He can now rest assured that the cracks will not continue to grow.
Kathie H.living in Antioch wanted her back patio leveled because a couple of the concrete slabs were sinking and as a result, they were becoming a trip hazard. Kathie was told by the System Design Specialist during her appointment that her patio’s slabs could be lifted back into place with PolyLevel. This process would even out the patio. She agreed PolyLevel sounded exactly like what she wanted and would be a perfect fix to her problem. Kathie is extremely happy with her leveled back patio. Jim and Pat C. from Walnut Creek noticed that their floors were sagging near their fireplace on their west wall. They wanted their floors and west wall leveled and stabilized to prevent any further damage to their house. Jim and Pat were ready to knock some other things off of their to do list and decided they also wanted their existing sump replaced as well. While searching for solutions they found NorCal Foundation Support. Shortly after the decision to get their floors fixed, they called to make an appointment.
The couple's appointment with NorCal Foundation Support’s System Design Specialist followed shortly after their call. Jim and Pat were informed, during the appointment, that the west side of the home's walls could be stabilized and lifted using Push Piers to stabilize the foundation.
Then, the sagging floors could be fixed by installing SmartJacks to replace the statis wood supports under the crawl space of the house. This process would even out, lift, and stabilize the houses floors. Jim and Pat agreed that both the SmartJacks and Push Piers sounded exactly like what they wanted and that this would be a perfect fix to their sagging floors and sinking foundation. They also asked for the SmartPump to be installed as a replacement to their current sump.
NorCal Foundation Support also outlined a voluntary retrofit of the perimeter of the west wall with UFP plates for the couple; which they agreed to excitedly. Pat and Jim are now extremely happy with their house. They feel good knowing their floors will be supported by the installed SmartJacks and their walls supported by the Push Piers for years to come.
Mel H. from Wilton was looking for a way to prevent water build up in her crawlspace. Mel reached out to NorCal Foundation Support and found out that because Mel is a homeowner, she was able to make an appointment for a free inspection and estimate on her crawl space.
Shortly after reaching out to NorCal Foundation Support, Mel was told that our SmartPump and pipe system would be an excellent solution for collecting the standing water in her crawl space. This suggested system would discharge it through the SmartSump which would then expel the excess water outside of the crawlspace.
Mel agreed to the suggested solution and is happy that she did. Now she can rest assured water will not be building up under her house!
Push piers were installed along the rear and sides of this home to lift areas with settlement. Angle iron was used in some areas for additional support of the foundation where some push piers were installed.
